First Flight

It happened little late yet my first flight experience was really nice, i was travelling from chennai to san antonio for work.Sending my parents off the airport i checked in my bags and crossed the security, called up my parents while i was waiting for an announcement for boarding, planes have always been of some attarction from childhood days and goin abroad was also a dream come true, excited by the whole scenario, got into the flight , i was given a window seat which i wanted the most.I was worried on the take off of the planed, thinking its goin to be scary, i was still peeping out when the plane was ready for take off, i had telugu speaking aunty next to me, who already had many trips abroad, she wasnt excited at all, was getting ready to sleep.I was looking at the planes parked near by,when the plane was moved the the lane for take off i wondered how well the pilots do a reverse, thinking slightly, how hectic it would be to know whats behind and assumed they might have a video camera.Appreciating the pilot was still looking out,it was very late when i knew, planes do not take a reverse but they are moved to position, i laughed at myself..:), as it took off i first tried to close my eyes, but dint want to miss any part of fun, into the clouds and as if heaven was reachable it was awesome , nothing was visible except the light on the wings of the plane.I was seeing the controls on the left of my seat, i was able to operate a few and certain things i wasnt sure off.I took out a paper and started making a note off the altitude and pressure levels, no one would bother to do that if they are a frequent flyer but i was impressed on the height where my flight was..All throught th journey i havent slept and was watching the loss of days and night across the globe..alternating darkness and sunshine within few hours was fascinating..Further moving at the end of the trip i had to change flights, following the signs, walked along to the next termial, not knowing there are trains and trams between terminal, anyone reading this blog who hasnt travelled abroad, please remember this and dont walk like me..god's grace i dint miss the next flight, at the destination i had a severe ear block due to turbulent weather..:)
